A place to live

Le Môka opened its doors in April 2022, at the corner of rue Florian and rue du Commandant André in Cannes. Môka is more than a café, it’s a real place to live! Open non-stop from 9am to 6pm, Môka welcomes you for breakfast and lunch or to enjoy an artisanal ice cream or a home-made pastry, on site or to take away.

Whilst wandering in the hustle and bustle of the city, between business meetings and relaxing shopping, it is rare to find a place to eat away from the noise and frenzy of the city. This place exists in Cannes. In a decor with impressionist colors, Le Môka welcomes you outside on its large terrace, under its white canvases or inside around a bar that invites to friendly conversations.

Design by Laura Gonzalez

This place where it is good to sit on the terrace or cosy inside was beautifully decorated by the interior designer Laura Gonzalez. “I imagined a place with a warm atmosphere. The starting point was the creation of a large fresco inspired by the painters of the time Matisse, Cocteau, Cézanne, Braque with lots of colors. I then used these colors on the walls, furniture and floors,” she says. Indeed, the decorator Laura Gonzalez, to whom we owe among others Manko in Paris, Lapérouse or Saint James, signs here a universe taking back the codes and the colors of the light of the South of France.
